The EA Edit January 2025
The EA Edit is a new monthly email from me to you that focuses on fun, relaxation and respite.
You see, Whatever Wednesday is my favourite day in the EA How To Facebook Group. It's the day we make book recommendations, chat about podcasts, share our recent binge watching obsessions, post pictures of pets and chat about... whatever. In 2025 I want more Whatever Wednesday.
So on the last Wednesday of each month, you can expect an email from me that focuses on things I'm loving right now.
Sound good? Let's do this!
Tracker on Disney+
Is it sophisticated viewing?
No.
Did it get me through some long haul flights recently?
It sure did!
Check it out and let me know what you think!
Long Hot Water Bottles
This (and my old fluffy blanket) is getting me through the workday when it's chilly 🥶
After spending December on the beach in Australia, I'm now back in the UK and seriously feeling the cold.
This hot water bottle is keeping me going.
Smoothie Of The Month
- 100g Silken Tofu
- 2 Tbsp Sesame Seeds
- 1 Tbsp Flax Seeds
- 1 Banana
- 200 mL Water
If I run out of bananas I'll pop some frozen blueberries in or whatever else I have. Sometimes I add Complete Greens or Creatine.

Comfy Leggings
We all need leggings that are buttery soft, comfy, stay up while we're moving around and are affordable.
Tick, tick, tick and tick - all the boxes.
Oh and they have pockets!
You can get them here.
Btw... I've been wearing these to the gym 3-5 days a week for 6+ months. Thats a lot of washing and wear and tear. No pilling. No losing shape. They're still perfect.
Switching Off
When was the last time you took a break? A real break.
I had no idea how burned out I was until I finally turned everything off and spent days on the beach with a book reading for pleasure, not work. Rest is a necessity.
I was reading Things Will Calm Down Soon by Zoe Foster Blake.
Next on my reading for pleasure list... Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine. Have you read it?
I need new podcast recommendations (not work related). What are you listening to right now? Reply and let me know!
Cheers,
Alicia
